What We Do

Outreach is a primary responsibility of a church.God does not call Christians to a "season" of outreach ministry but rather to lives dedicated to Jesus Christ and  reaching out to others. Without sustained effective outreach, the church cannot fulfill its mission and cannot survive.

The underlying purpose of A3Oc is not just to meet the  needs of  the  American Asian community, it is "establishing beachhead  evangelism in the individual's life" . Dr Rick Warren, author of the Purpose Driven  Book writes that "anybody can be won to Christ if you discover the key to his or her heart..the most likely place to start is the person's felt needs".  Because  the spiritual, physical, material, financial, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the people in the community are so "diverse." Several different types of program and services are necessary.

Church outreach - the means to introduce American Asian people  in the community to church by making them aware of God's love for them.  Minister to the unchurched  where they will have the opportunity to  meet their felt needs and illustrating God's love.

Church Morale-Besides leading to people to Jesus Christ and drawing American Asian people into the church that brings healing and help to the communities. The  A3Oc encourages the "volunteers" as well. This is part of the inclusive and diversity program and services. Its involves training , education and its practical applications. Fellowship involves bringing people together around the common purpose. Empowering each other to meet their needs and the American Asian Community.

The A3Oc supports some of the most effective, innovative and accountable non profit organizations, group working with American Asian in the field of  (a) Women Empowerment (b) Child Protection (c) Education, (d) Anger Management (e) Elderly Protection (f) Individuals with Special Needs (g) Disaster Management.

Our view of poverty is holistic and complex. We honor the people we serve by inviting them to contribute to the process. We are grateful to be invited into the communities we serve and work side-by-side with local leaders, responding to their needs with transformative solutions, which are both sustainable and implemented at the hands of the communities themselves.
